The Urban Ecology Center helps maintain public parks in neighborhoods throughout Milwaukee while creating educational opportunities for children and supporting community bonds.
Research has shown that well-maintained parks can reduce neighborhood crime, but a careful look at a prior analysis of UEC's efficacy in this regard revealed serious data limitations and methodological flaws.
In order to improve their pitch to potential donors, UEC needed an updated report that accurately measured their contribution to reduced crime rates in the areas they service.
With our new analysis, we helped UEC use the story of their data as the foundation for a presentation making a strong case for their contribution toward the falling crime rate in Milwaukee neighborhoods.
“Thank you for such a great presentation! We’ve already used… your information in a presentation today to a big donor. Everyone was so impressed!”
